Our caring team at Rockhampton Crematorium will help in every way possible, providing assistance and making the chapel available for all your funeral needs. We also work in conjunction with all funeral homes.

Rockhampton Crematorium has two air-conditioned chapels available for cremation services, which are the perfect location for a fitting and meaningful remembrance of a loved one’s life. 

Our chapels are available for services Monday through Friday and by special arrangements on weekends. Our east chapel provides seating for 230 people with ample extra seating in covered areas set aside for overflow attendances. 

The original west chapel has been recently renovated and has seating for approximately 80 people and is favoured for smaller and private services.

Both chapels have audio –visual equipment available.

Our Garden of Remembrance is a beautiful, secure and peaceful environment where cremated ashes can be 

placed forever. We are also a peaceful place where family members and descendants can come and reflect, or to celebrate the life of a relative or friend. Our Garden of Remembrance is open 7 days a week, via the first entry off Richardson Road.

From the simplicity of a rose garden to the traditional wall niche, we offer a wide choice of memorial options. Our beautifully maintained gardens have places available for individual family plots, single internments, double and single wall niches and memorial plaques to offer multiple options for those wishing to place and remember their 

loved ones. 

We have a range of keepsake urns, headstones, ceramic photos and frames, vases, engraving and plaques for onsite and offsite interment of ashes, including:

• Family plots for 8 or 16 interments
  
• Single or double interments into various gardens
  
• Double or single interments into our niche walls
  
• Memorial walls for the placing of a memorial plaque in memory of a loved one
  
• War grave niche walls
