Established in 1946, the Rockhampton Crematorium is a locally owned family business. We are a member of the Queensland Cemeteries & Crematoria Association (QCCA) and have extensive years of training under our name. The Rockhampton Crematorium offers professional services for cremations with or without a formal service. Our air–conditioned Chapels are equipped with media facilities for personalised service. Rockhampton Crematorium is Rockhampton’s only full-service crematorium. 

Rockhampton Crematorium strictly follows statutory requirements and has fully compliant records dating back to 1946. 

Our Garden of Remembrance has a wide range of beautiful gardens and niche walls for the placement of cremated remains. A memorial helps those left behind to grieve, as it is a place to visit and reflect. The process of choosing a suitable memorial and the wording for a plaque also brings healing. Establishing a memorial provides an important link between the past and future generations. Our formal records provide the next generation with the details of their family history and the location of a physical place to visit and memorial plaque to read. 

Memorials can also be placed when no remains are available or have previously been scattered. Whatever your choice we can help you tailor a memorial to reflect the needs of each individual and family – all within a wide range of budgets – that will be cared for now and into the future.
